Welcome to Rowton Retreats
Rowton Retreats is based on a family farm within the South Shropshire Hills. We have a Holiday Cottage and two lodges, amongst an array of farm animals and wildlife. If you’re looking for a unique country getaway as a couple, family or group of friends where you can unwind, relax and explore the area then we have the perfect accommodation for you.
From soaking in the hot tub to toasting marshmallows on the fire or simply relaxing while watching the sunset. We believe it is the perfect place to relax in your own little world.
Our accommodation
Our gorgeous glamping lodges are positioned in a beautiful spot overlooking the South Shropshire Hills.
We want to provide you with the most comfortable stay possible while allowing you to explore nature and embrace your own slice of the countryside.
The Area
Rowton Retreats is set within the heart of a working family farm in South Shropshire.
At the farm we are surrounded by beautiful views, woodland and hills. We have horses, cows, sheep, chickens and 3 lovely dogs, we love to share the farm with our visitors as well as our favourite views and places to visit. If you’re lucky enough to come in Spring you’ll be able to feed some baby lambs and calves. The horses and dogs are always waiting for a stroke if you like animals.
The farm is mainly run by Frank (Father), Sarah (Daughter) and Tom (Son) we all have our different interests but share a love for the farm.
Within the 300 acres of farmland we also grow crops (wheat, barley, oats and oilseed rape) and have over 40 acres of woodland and wildlife areas, with a number of private tracks you will be free to roam.
